Food Rescue is a major part of our work. We help families make it month to month with a weekly meal at the First Presbyterian Church at 121 Davis. The cooks start at noon and the servers at 4! At least 600 meals are prepared and served each week.

These awesome cooks make food preparation fun. Lots of community service hours are found here at Many Meals. Its a place where kids can learn who to work alongside caring adults and learn early how to serve others. Santa Paula is a place where people care.

Oh Yeah! Clearing - Cleaning and Hauling was formed to provide jobs and income for the work of SPIRIT of Santa Paula. Many of the employees were once homeless people with lots of issues. Through love and patient guidance, the employees have come to know that hard work feels good and making old things "new" is like rebuilding a life. Community service hours can be earned as well as few bucks. Some of them are returning to school to complete their GED's and start their under-graduate work at a community college. We provide counseling, resource development, and purpose. We work at reuniting families and job location. Life is hard when funds are limited but through perseverence, they can experience good outcomes. We are faithful colleagues. We trust God and believe in doing the right thing. Like these homes, old things pass away and all things become new. In Christ, we are new creations.
Oh Yeah! Clearing - Cleaning - Hauling is a for-profit company and a division of Ventura County Commerce, Inc. Much of our work and proceeds goes to support the activities of SPIRIT of Santa Paula, a 501-C3 non-profit religious corporation which serves the homeless, hungry and underserved residents of Santa Paula.
