This is a before picture of a living room in a house in Oxnard.
Sad situation caused this as in most circumstances.
This is the same living room 24 hours later. The carpet was so filled with cat hair that it would have been impossible to vacuum it out so it was removed. The stench was serious and protective masks were worn.
This kitchen had months if not years of build-up. Canned food decades old were found. In a similar house in another city, several nest of Brown Recluse Spiders were found under the kitchen cabinets. That kind of remediation was left to the pest control operators.
This is the same kitchen a few hours later. The cook top was too dirty and corroded to clean.
Further remediation was left to the contractors who "flipped the property".
This is the kitchen of another hoarder who had used the home for several years as storage only. Layers and layers of dust covered everything. Nothing could be salvaged. The photo at the top of the page is the beautiful look the contractor gave it.
This is the same kitchen after clean-up and before remodeling. There is no question that someone with an eye for what "could be" blessed this home and the first-time homebuyers that acquired it after renovation. See the photos at the top.
